Why our motto is about care

At TLC Moving & Storage, our motto sums up our commitment: “Let someone who cares handle your valuables.” Residential or commercial, large or small, every move gets the same level of dedication.

We pay close attention to every detail, big and small, so your things are handled with real care. Our goal is to be the most reliable movers in Ottawa, and after more than two decades of moving Ottawa families we are still improving how we work.

Above all, our priority is respect: respect for our clients and respect for their possessions.

How a move with TLC runs, from estimate to set-up

A move with us follows four steps. It starts with a free, obligation-free estimate, with a walk-through of your home first if it helps, so the quote matches what is really moving. Once you book, we can arrange boxes and packing materials before moving day.

On moving day the crew pads the floors, takes apart and wraps the furniture, and loads the truck. At the new home the furniture goes back together, where you want it.

Being a trusted, reliable moving company is no easy task. This is what it takes, and what we hold ourselves to.

  • Skilled, dedicated movers

Pro movers who put the client's needs first in every situation.

  • A plan, and sticking to it

The day is planned before the truck arrives, and the crew follows the plan.

  • Furniture rebuilt correctly

A large table taken apart at one end, and the time and care taken to reassemble it correctly at the other.

  • A carefully packed truck

The truck packed so the most delicate items are well protected.

  • Problems solved before they start

Anticipating problems before they happen, with a solution ready for each one.
