We collect information from you when you fill out a form on our site, such as the free estimate form, or use the chat on our site.

The estimate form asks for your first and last name, mobile phone number, email address, what you need help with and how you would like us to reply, and you can add photos. It also records the page you started on and the website, link or ad that brought you to our site.

The chat collects what you type into it. You may, however, visit our site without giving us any of this.

When you browse the site, Google Analytics records how it is used: for example the pages visited, the type of device and browser, and the approximate location the visit came from. Pages that show a map load it from Google Maps.

Our site is served over a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS), so what you type into a form is encrypted on its way to us.

We do not take payments through this website, so we do not collect credit card numbers or other financial details online.

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enable the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

We use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction, so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

We use Google Analytics for this. Google explains how it uses this information in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site: where they click, how far they scroll, and where they get stuck. It records a playback of the mouse movement and clicks in a visit, with the text on the page masked, and it sets its own cookies to recognise a returning visit. Microsoft explains how it handles this information in the Microsoft Privacy Statement and Clarity's documentation.

Pages that show our location include a map embedded from Google Maps. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to them.

If you prefer, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies via your browser settings. Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, some of our services may not function properly.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

Those third parties include the companies that host our website, provide our estimate form and chat (Velogics, whose service uses AI to help us respond to you), and provide Google Analytics and Google Maps.

We may also release your information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
